The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine plans to increase the expenditures of the State Budget by UAH 5 billion preceding the first quarter of 2011.
Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, made this statement during the working visit to Chernihiv region. "The Cabinet of Ministers is studying the possibilities to submit its amendments to the State Budget preceding the first quarter," he informed. "It is planned to increase the expenditures of the State Budget by UAH 5 billion."
He stated that the Government was actively searching for the respective sum, and was intending to amend the Law on the State Budget to envisage increase of the expenditures.
According to the Head of the Parliament, it will allow raising the wages of medical workers and educationalists.
